Cancellation & Refund Policy

SightifyAds maintains clear and disciplined commercial standards for project cancellations, professional service fees, Stripe payments, recurring billing, advertising spend, third-party expenses, and refund requests.

Effective Date:

Effective Date: August 17, 2026

This Cancellation & Refund Policy (“Policy”) governs cancellations, payments, recurring billing, and refund requests relating to professional services provided by SightifyAds LLC (“SightifyAds,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

SightifyAds provides customized marketing, advertising, creative, technology, digital presence, website, e-commerce, consulting, and related professional services. Our engagements require expertise, strategic planning, research, production time, technical implementation, platform configuration, resource allocation, and other work performed specifically for each client.

Accordingly, professional service fees are earned as services are performed and are not treated in the same manner as purchases of returnable consumer merchandise.

By purchasing, authorizing, or receiving services from SightifyAds, the client acknowledges and agrees to this Policy together with any applicable proposal, Service Agreement, Statement of Work, order form, insertion order, subscription agreement, or other written agreement governing the engagement.

1. Stripe Payment Processing

All client payments to SightifyAds are processed through Stripe.

This applies to payments including, without limitation:

  • Project deposits

  • Initial payments

  • Setup fees

  • One-time professional service fees

  • Website and development fees

  • Campaign setup fees

  • Milestone payments

  • Monthly management fees

  • Retainers

  • Recurring service fees

  • Approved additional work

  • Other amounts due to SightifyAds

SightifyAds uses Stripe to maintain a secure, professional, and centralized billing process and to provide applicable invoices, payment records, and receipts.

Clients are responsible for providing accurate and current billing information and for maintaining a valid payment method when required for an active engagement.

A payment obligation is not considered satisfied until the applicable transaction has been successfully processed.

2. One-Time Projects and Invoices

One-time projects and non-recurring services are invoiced and collected through Stripe.

Depending on the engagement, SightifyAds may require:

  • Payment in full before work begins

  • An initial deposit

  • Scheduled milestone payments

  • A final payment before launch, publication, transfer, or delivery

  • Another payment structure expressly established in the applicable written agreement

Payment schedules established in a proposal, invoice, Service Agreement, or Statement of Work form part of the commercial terms of the engagement.

Failure to make a required payment may result in the project being paused, delayed, withheld from launch or transfer, or otherwise suspended until the outstanding balance has been resolved.

3. Project Deposits, Setup Fees, and Initial Payments

Unless expressly stated otherwise in a written agreement, project deposits, setup fees, onboarding fees, strategy fees, initial payments, and similar charges become non-refundable once SightifyAds has commenced work or committed resources to the engagement.

Work may be considered commenced when SightifyAds begins any project-related activity, including, without limitation:

  • Discovery

  • Research

  • Strategic planning

  • Competitive analysis

  • Account audits

  • Campaign architecture

  • Keyword research

  • Audience research

  • Media planning

  • Advertising account configuration

  • Conversion tracking preparation

  • Website architecture

  • User experience planning

  • Website design

  • Development

  • Copywriting

  • Creative production

  • Technical implementation

  • Analytics configuration

  • Platform configuration

  • Client onboarding

  • Consultations

  • Meetings

  • Internal production preparation

  • Allocation of personnel, technology, or production resources

If a client requests cancellation before work has commenced, SightifyAds may review the circumstances and determine whether a refund is appropriate, subject to any applicable contractual obligations, processing costs, third-party expenses, and requirements of applicable law.

4. Completed, Delivered, or Commenced Services

Payments attributable to professional services that have already been commenced, performed, substantially completed, completed, approved, delivered, implemented, published, launched, or otherwise made available to the client are non-refundable except where otherwise expressly agreed in writing or required by applicable law.

Such services may include, without limitation:

  • Strategic marketing services

  • Google Ads

  • Meta Ads

  • LinkedIn Ads

  • TikTok Ads

  • Spotify advertising

  • YouTube advertising

  • Microsoft Advertising

  • Other paid media services

  • Advertising campaign setup

  • Campaign management and optimization

  • Website design

  • Website development

  • Landing pages

  • Framer websites

  • Shopify and e-commerce services

  • Google Business Profile services

  • Search engine optimization

  • Local search services

  • Digital presence development

  • Social media setup

  • Social media management

  • Creative production

  • Copywriting

  • Graphic assets

  • Analytics

  • Tracking implementation

  • Consulting

  • Technical configuration

  • Automation

  • Other professional digital services

A client's decision to change direction, discontinue a business initiative, reduce a budget, choose not to use completed work, or otherwise change its plans does not create an automatic entitlement to a refund.

5. Monthly and Recurring Services

Monthly retainers, advertising management, marketing management, website maintenance, SEO engagements, consulting arrangements, ongoing optimization, automation services, and other recurring engagements are billed through Stripe automatic recurring billing.

By enrolling in or authorizing a recurring SightifyAds service, the client authorizes SightifyAds, through Stripe, to charge the payment method associated with the client's billing account for the applicable recurring service fee on each scheduled billing date.

Stripe subscriptions are designed to support recurring payments and recurring invoices.

Recurring payments remain authorized until the applicable service is properly canceled in accordance with the governing agreement and applicable law.

Fees for a service period that has already begun are generally non-refundable and are not ordinarily prorated upon cancellation, except where expressly stated in the applicable agreement or required by law.

Cancellation ordinarily affects future billing periods rather than reversing fees already earned for an active or completed service period.

Any engagement-specific terms regarding:

  • Minimum commitments

  • Billing dates

  • Renewal periods

  • Notice requirements

  • Cancellation deadlines

  • Contract duration

will be governed by the applicable written agreement.

Certain automatic-renewal provisions may be subject to statutory requirements depending on the nature of the client and transaction. Florida law, for example, contains specific requirements applicable to certain automatically renewing service contracts.

6. Automatic Payment Authorization

For recurring services, the client agrees to maintain an active and valid payment method within Stripe for the duration of the engagement.

The client's authorization permits the applicable recurring amount to be charged according to the agreed billing schedule without requiring SightifyAds to request payment manually before each billing cycle.

Any applicable taxes, approved additional charges, or other amounts specifically authorized under the governing agreement may also be invoiced or collected through Stripe as permitted by the applicable engagement terms.

7. Failed or Declined Payments

Clients are responsible for ensuring that payment information remains valid and that sufficient authorization or funds are available for charges that are contractually due.

If a scheduled Stripe payment is:

  • Declined

  • Failed

  • Reversed

  • Disputed

  • Blocked

  • Otherwise unpaid

SightifyAds may pause or suspend services, campaign management, production, maintenance, support, development, deliverables, access, or other ongoing work until the outstanding balance has been successfully resolved.

Where configured, Stripe Billing can automatically retry failed subscription or invoice payments.

A temporary interruption or suspension resulting from nonpayment does not automatically extend a service period or create an entitlement to a refund.

SightifyAds is not obligated to continue providing professional services while an account remains past due.

8. Advertising Spend

Advertising spend is separate from SightifyAds' professional management fees.

Media budgets and advertising expenditures may be charged directly by third-party platforms including, without limitation:

  • Google

  • Meta

  • Facebook

  • Instagram

  • LinkedIn

  • TikTok

  • Spotify

  • YouTube

  • Microsoft

  • Other advertising, media, or technology platforms

Amounts collected directly by third-party advertising platforms are governed by those platforms' own billing, credit, cancellation, and refund policies.

SightifyAds does not issue refunds for advertising spend collected by or paid to third-party advertising platforms.

The client remains responsible for advertising costs incurred through campaigns, accounts, budgets, or spending levels authorized by the client.

9. Third-Party Platforms, Products, and Expenses

Third-party products, subscriptions, licenses, services, and expenses that have already been purchased, activated, reserved, committed, or incurred are not refundable by SightifyAds.

Such expenses may include:

  • Domain registrations

  • Framer subscriptions

  • Shopify subscriptions

  • Hosting

  • Premium plugins

  • Applications

  • Software subscriptions

  • Automation platforms

  • API usage

  • Stock photography

  • Stock video

  • Stock audio

  • Licensed creative assets

  • Fonts

  • Email platforms

  • Analytics services

  • Advertising platforms

  • Payment processing charges

  • Contractors

  • Vendors

  • Other external products or services required for an engagement

Where an account or subscription is owned directly by the client, the client remains responsible for maintaining, modifying, renewing, downgrading, upgrading, or canceling that account with the applicable provider.

SightifyAds does not control and is not responsible for a third party's decision regarding credits, refunds, account suspensions, pricing changes, policy changes, or service availability.

10. Advertising, Marketing, and Business Results

SightifyAds provides professional strategy, execution, optimization, creative, technology, and management services.

Unless a specific guarantee is expressly stated in a separate written agreement executed by SightifyAds, SightifyAds does not guarantee a particular advertising, marketing, financial, search, or business result.

Performance may be affected by circumstances beyond SightifyAds' control, including:

  • Market conditions

  • Competition

  • Industry conditions

  • Client pricing

  • Client offers

  • Sales processes

  • Website performance

  • Available advertising budget

  • Consumer behavior

  • Geographic conditions

  • Seasonality

  • Platform algorithms

  • Platform policies

  • Account eligibility

  • Auction dynamics

  • Economic conditions

  • Third-party technology

  • Changes implemented by advertising platforms

Accordingly, professional service fees are not refundable solely because a campaign, website, marketing initiative, or other service does not produce a particular number or level of:

  • Leads

  • Calls

  • Sales

  • Customers

  • Conversions

  • Revenue

  • Website visits

  • Impressions

  • Clicks

  • Followers

  • Search rankings

  • Return on advertising spend

  • Return on investment

  • Other business or marketing metrics

SightifyAds is compensated for the professional services, expertise, strategy, execution, implementation, and management it provides—not for an independently guaranteed commercial outcome.

11. Website, Landing Page, and E-Commerce Cancellations

If a client cancels a website, landing page, Shopify store, e-commerce project, or other digital development engagement after work has commenced, payments attributable to work already performed or milestones already achieved are non-refundable.

Payments associated with an agreed project milestone are considered earned when the corresponding work has been substantially completed or delivered in accordance with the applicable scope.

Cancellation does not automatically eliminate:

  • Amounts already earned

  • Outstanding milestone payments

  • Approved third-party expenses

  • Charges for additional authorized work

  • Other contractual payment obligations

Ownership, publication, transfer, licensing, credentials, editable files, platform transfer, and delivery rights relating to incomplete or unpaid work remain subject to the applicable Service Agreement or project terms.

12. Client Delays and Inactivity

SightifyAds projects may require the client to provide:

  • Information

  • Access

  • Credentials

  • Approvals

  • Feedback

  • Content

  • Photography

  • Video

  • Brand assets

  • Business information

  • Product information

  • Legal approvals

  • Other materials reasonably necessary to perform the services

Client delays, inactivity, lack of communication, failure to provide approvals, failure to provide required materials, or failure to provide access do not create a right to a refund.

SightifyAds may pause, reschedule, or otherwise manage an affected project in accordance with the applicable agreement.

13. Revisions and Changes in Scope

Revisions included within an engagement are governed by the scope and revision terms established in the applicable proposal, Service Agreement, or Statement of Work.

Requests introducing:

  • Additional pages

  • Additional campaigns

  • Additional platforms

  • Additional deliverables

  • New functionality

  • New integrations

  • A substantially different creative direction

  • A materially different strategy

  • Work outside the original scope

may constitute additional professional services and may require additional fees.

A request outside the agreed scope does not create an entitlement to a refund for work already performed.

14. Cancellation Requests

A client wishing to terminate an engagement must submit the cancellation request through an official SightifyAds communication channel associated with the engagement or through the official SightifyAds contact or project inquiry form.

The request should reasonably identify:

  • The client or company

  • The applicable engagement

  • The service being canceled

  • The requested cancellation date

Submitting a cancellation request does not itself establish entitlement to a refund.

Cancellation rights, effective dates, future billing obligations, and financial consequences remain subject to:

  • This Policy

  • The applicable Service Agreement

  • Any applicable Statement of Work

  • Services already performed

  • Expenses already incurred

  • Applicable law

Where applicable law requires a particular method of cancellation, SightifyAds will honor that requirement.

15. Refund Requests

Refund requests must identify the relevant engagement, payment, and basis for the request.

SightifyAds will evaluate refund requests based on:

  • The applicable agreement

  • Work already performed

  • The status of the engagement

  • Resources already committed

  • Third-party costs incurred

  • Payment history

  • Relevant circumstances

  • Applicable law

Submission of a refund request does not guarantee approval.

A discretionary refund or commercial accommodation granted in one circumstance does not establish a continuing policy, precedent, or obligation to provide the same accommodation in another engagement.

16. Duplicate Payments and Billing Errors

SightifyAds will review legitimate claims involving:

  • Duplicate charges

  • Incorrect charges

  • Accidental overpayments

  • Verified billing errors

Where SightifyAds confirms that a billing error occurred, it will correct the account as appropriate.

Any approved refund will generally be returned through Stripe to the applicable original payment method where reasonably possible.

The time required for funds to appear may depend on Stripe, the card network, the client's bank, or another relevant financial institution.

17. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Clients are encouraged to raise legitimate billing or service concerns directly with SightifyAds before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.

A chargeback does not automatically:

  • Cancel an applicable agreement

  • Eliminate amounts legitimately owed

  • Transfer ownership of unpaid work

  • Create a refund entitlement

  • Release a client from obligations relating to services already performed or expenses already incurred

Where reasonably necessary, SightifyAds may provide Stripe, payment processors, card networks, banks, financial institutions, or other relevant parties with documentation concerning the transaction, including:

  • Agreements

  • Proposals

  • Statements of Work

  • Invoices

  • Payment records

  • Client approvals

  • Communications

  • Project records

  • Delivery records

  • Evidence of work performed

Nothing in this section limits any right that cannot legally be limited or waived.

18. Project-Specific Agreements

Individual engagements may be governed by separate written terms, including:

  • Proposals

  • Service Agreements

  • Statements of Work

  • Order forms

  • Subscription agreements

  • Insertion orders

  • Other written commercial agreements

Those documents may contain project-specific provisions concerning:

  • Pricing

  • Deposits

  • Payment schedules

  • Milestones

  • Retainers

  • Renewal

  • Cancellation

  • Notice periods

  • Minimum commitments

  • Third-party expenses

  • Deliverables

  • Intellectual property

  • Refunds

If a project-specific agreement conflicts with this general Policy, the project-specific agreement will control with respect to that engagement to the extent permitted by applicable law.

19. Non-Waivable Legal Rights

Nothing in this Policy is intended to waive, restrict, disclaim, or eliminate any cancellation, refund, rescission, payment, consumer protection, or other legal right that cannot lawfully be waived.

If applicable federal, state, or local law grants a mandatory right that conflicts with a provision of this Policy, SightifyAds will comply with the applicable legal requirement.

20. Changes to This Policy

SightifyAds may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in:

  • Services

  • Billing practices

  • Technology

  • Third-party platforms

  • Business operations

  • Regulatory requirements

  • Applicable law

The Effective Date displayed at the top of this page identifies the most recent version.

Updated terms will apply prospectively except where an applicable agreement or law provides otherwise.
